My pc was good until a few days ago, its windows was 10 and 64 bit, its RAM is 2*4 G, in the morning of that day when I pushed the power button, there was beeps, yes 9 beeps and repeating pattern, I replaced its CMOS battery , but the battery was not a good one and had voltage of 1.7 V, when I realized that, I measured its old battery and the battery voltage was 2.98 V so I replaced its original battery, the result was LED power on with black screen and no response, I tried many instructions of the troubleshooting manual with no success, could anybody help me out?

Hi:
See the troubleshooting guide at the link below, Appendix A, page 59 for how to troubleshoot the 9 beep code error...

If those steps didn't work, then it is time for a new PC.
I would not bother replacing the motherboard or processor.

Hi,
I have already read that instructions and it was too short and discouraging, after all there is no 9 beeps any more, it is power LED on continuously, could you tell me more specific solution rather than buying a new pc, I am retired and I can't afford buying a new one, changing the mother board is a difficult solution, I am sure still there is a way to get over it, this computer is really a piece of jewelry a fantastic piece of work by hp corporation.
