Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. I came across your post and would like to assist.

I understand that you have an HP ENVY Desktop PC - 750-514. I read that there is no display o the monitor and it says no signal. Not worry, I'll do my best to help you.

If it is an HP monitor then let me know the exact product model no. This link will help you to find the model no: http://hp.care/2bygf7l

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:

  • I did some research on this and see that your HP PC has two HDMI ports. Please try connecting the monitor one by one to both HDMI ports and check if that helps.
  • Do you see any blinking lights on the keyboard (caps lock, num lock lights, etc.)?
  • Does the same monitor work fine with another computer (if available)?

Meanwhile, I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:

  • Press and hold the power button of the PC until it powers off completely.
  • Disconnect all cables, devices and power cables from the PC.
  • Press and hold the PC's power button for 10 seconds.
  • Now, please connect the power cable, keyboard, mouse and the monitor to the PC.
  • Power on the PC.

If there is still no display then please perform the steps as described in detail from this HP document. These steps help in fixing such issues.

I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Let me know how it goes. All the best! 🙂
