Hi @tchelobabi
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" error on your HP ML110 server usually indicates a problem with the storage device or the boot configuration. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. Check Hardware Connections
- Ensure all cables connected to the hard drives are secure.
- If you have multiple drives, check to see if they are properly seated in their slots.
2. Boot into Safe Mode
- Restart the server and repeatedly press F8 until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears.
- Select Safe Mode. If the server boots successfully, it may indicate a driver issue.
3. Repair the Boot Configuration
- Boot from a Windows installation media (USB/DVD).
- Select your language preferences and click Next.
- Choose Repair your computer.
- Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt.
- Run the following commands one at a time:
- After running the commands, restart the server.
4. Check Disk for Errors
- If you can boot into Safe Mode, open Command Prompt as an administrator.
- Run the command:
- Replace C: with the appropriate drive letter if Windows is installed on a different drive.
5. Check BIOS Settings
- Restart the server and enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing F10 or Esc during startup).
- Ensure that the hard drive is recognized and that the boot order is correct.
6. Driver Issues
- If you recently installed new hardware or drivers, revert those changes. You can do this through Safe Mode
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
