Hi Kazi Yes, I had the same problem. Couldn't find any BIOS update for that model. As mentioned previously I had updated the chipset drivers successfully but that did not help. I have also tried repairing the bootsector using bcdedit but again that did not help. I am convinced that there is nothing wrong with the computer hardware and that the problem is in UEFI boot. I will try HP system Recovery but am not confident that will work. Will let you know how that goes. Again many thanks for you advise and help. Regards Den

Does anyone know a true fix for this issue. I'm having the same problem with a P6-2330 and nothing works. Tried a BIOS update with no success disabled Secure Boot and ALL that good stuff. I can only get into Windows by entering the BIOS and choosing Load Defaults. PLEASE HELP!

It is simple:-

1. Go to BIOS setup by pressing F10.

2. Select “File” tab.

3. Click on “Apply defaults and exit.”

PROBLEM SOLVED!!
