I recently replaced a clone PC with an HP Prodesk 600 G2 that is accessed by 2 terminals [USB keyboards and VGA monitors] via an Aten CS-231 reverse KVM switch, the clone PC has been working fine with this setup , problem is when i install the new HP it won’t recognize the KVM switch… it hangs at the “press esc to enter bios screen” but pressing esc does nothing. I have tried plugging in an extra keyboard in case it was stopping becuase it couldn't detect a keyboard, but it won’t recognize that either, I have looked through the HP bios but can’t see anything obvious … when i put the clone back in it boots perfectly and i can access the computer from both keyboards and monitor terminals
the HP will boot up fine hooked straight up to a monitor/keyboard
any suggestions please
