Hi @wowrules

Sorry to see this.

Need more information. Both HP 590 series motherboards (Sunflower/Lincs) support M.2 NVME drives.

Please provide a specific Product number. Don't know what you have without a HP product number

What software did you use to clone the HP factory drive to the new drive? You might want to try different disk imaging/cloning software.

I am fuzzy on changing the boot order. Windows Boot Manager should automatically detect the new UEFI  boot device if the clone was successful. The new boot device should be in the UEFI boot options menu.

It sounds like you have a faulty clone if you see an "Automatic Repair" followed by troubleshooting options. You may have a corrupted boot loader on the new drive.

The new NVME drive could also have problems.

Hi @wowrules

I use Macrium free also.

I have had some cloning issues with Macrium. I now create a Macrium backup image file on external media.

Then use bootable Macrium USB recovery media outside of Windows to copy the saved image from the external drive to the new SATA or NVME drive.

The new drive should boot without messing with the boot order if it is the only bootable drive connected to the MB.

This method has been working for me without any problems.

Regards
