maximum fan speed after "manufacturing programming mode is in unlock mode" status

HP Pavilion Power Desktop - 580-107ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Motherboard: HP 8437 (U3E1)

Bios: AMI F.51 10-12-2910

I had some blue screen incidents but every time the computer started until I got a "manufacturing programming mode is in unlock mode". The computer starts, works normal only the fan speed is at maximum and that makes a lot of noise.

I searched the internet and filled blank spaces in the Bios, checked all drivers and updates and got the Manufacturing programming mode solved.

The pc starts but instead of the HP logo, the pc starts with the Windows logo and the fan speed is still maximum.

By the thermal tab in the bios, I cannot adjust the speed. I do not want to make a system recovery if I can solve it otherwise and I am not sure if this will solve the problem of the fan speed. Anybody any idea?

Thanks for the help

maximum fan speed after "manufacturing programming mode is in unlock mode" status

Thanks for your reply but it is not working for me. Before i posted my problem i have tried all these steps. I updated all drivers, checked and double checked. still the fans are still at max. Also by starting up the logo of Windows shows instead of the logo of HP. If you have any other idea, please let me know.

@renekbob60

Please try these steps and let me know if you get back the HP Logo

  1. Go to BIOS, Select the Boot section using the right arrow key.

  2. Select Boot-time Diagnostic Screen using the up and down arrow keys.

  3. Press Enter to select boot-time diagnostic.

  4. Select Disabled to show the logo screen or select Enabled to remove the logo screen and display diagnostics.

  5. Press Enter.

  6. Press F10, and then press Enter to save the changes and exit the system BIOS.

If the issue persists restore the BIOS back to defaults and check if that helps with the Fan and logo issue

Keep me posted

maximum fan speed after "manufacturing programming mode is in unlock mode" status

LS,

I have bios Id F.51. When I enter my Bios with the "esc", i have no options to the solutions you wrote to me. So I saved with F10 the basic/standard settings. It did not work. The case/front fan 3692 rpm and CPU fan 4477 rpm. I checked with task manager the workloads and the seemed quite normal: CPU 30%, memory 42%, drive 1%.

I examined again my config.txt and saw that the save CT number was gone again. Could you send me an example of the original Bios settings for my model so I can cross check.

If the CT number is gone again, then the BIOS needs to be flashed in the Service Center

I suggest you contact HP Support for Service Options

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Thank you
