HP Recommended

Hi ,

the pc is old but for sentimental reasons, I am reusing an HP Pavillion  case and have fitted an HP motherboard 612500-001 which is fitted with an intel core i5 CPU 650 @3.20 GHz

it has a new SSD 1TB hard drive

A new ASUS DRW 24D5MT DVD RW disc drive

Installed memory 16384 MBPC3-10600

Memory bank 1 8192 MB DDR3 SDRAM

Memory bank 2 8192 MB DDR3 SDRAM

The other 2 memory banks 3 and 4  are empty and will not accept any more cards than the 2 installed

I have power, keyboard works and the mouse has power,  BIOS loads and I can open bios  settings and can change settings if needed, it recognizes the hard drive and the DVD writer, however when I try to load any disc to install a Windows 10 OS I get the following screens

LOAD DISC AND ENTERLOAD DISC AND ENTERGET MEDIA TEST FAILUREMESSAGEGET MEDIA TEST FAILUREMESSAGE

I've also tried using a mass storage device to load windows connected to the SATA cables but get the following screens with differing messages when it loops to restart

finally I've

tried an old hard drive from an old  computer that had Windows 10 which was working, it tries to load but I get a blue screen

I've tried resetting BIOS ,power off with  the jumper changed  etc and removing the battery from the motherboard ( it is a new battery ), HP has retired any BIOS support so I'm reaching out for help
