HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-3000i (4M0K0AV)
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

Need to be able to boot from SSD SATA drive to Win 8.1 32 bit get 3F0 error. Need to make this a dual boot machine. removed the PCIe 3.0 SSD stick and bios still do not see the SATA drive, No provision I can find in the Bios to setup for Legacy Boot drive???

Hi

 

My best guesses are: the drive has failed or the drive is configured using MBR. I am leaning towards the second problem.

 

I don't think HP provides CSM options in the UEFI.

 

Have you verified the Win 8.1 system disk works in a compatible PC?

 

Secure Boot options are described Here. I don't think this will fix your problem. Try it.
