we had a recent power surge at home and now my wife's desktop won't boot. After doing a power dump, reconnecting the power adapter and pushing the power button, I get 4 short white blinks and one long white blink on the front of the desktop. I haven't found out what these blinks are indicating. There is no indication of power on the monitor; only the blinks on the lower right front and the white indicator on the back when plugging in the power adapter. I am not sure if the internal power supply is dead, if the SSD is dead, or the motherboard fried. This unit is out of warranty, but my wife wants her PC to work. I may be prepared (depending on the part & cost) to buy a replacement component to get her back to working with this PC. Any guidance on what may be the problem with this unit would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for any guidance on this matter,
Bob
