The problem with power failures and computer equipment is not the LOSS of power but instead, the RETURN of power -- as that often comes with SURGES and those can burn out equipment.  I have all mine on expensive surge protectors for this very reason -- as we often lose power during strong thunderstorms.

If you don't have yours plugged into a surge protector, this is likely what happened.

This is not a simple matter to fix as it could have damaged both the motherboard and power supply -- neither of which is cheap or simple to replace.

If you take this to a local PC repair shop, they might be able to do some diagnostics to narrow down the issue.  I don't know of anything you can do apart from replacing the power supply.
