hi all just updated my omen 25l using hp assist now it won't boot at all . no power to the usb slots so i cant connect a keyboard. tried resetting the cmos to no avail.

i thought by using the hp assist it would be ok but no.

not a happy bunny

When this happened to my 25L GT12-1561nd I still had power on the rear USB ports. Try those.
Also the more basic the keyboard the better I guess.

If those steps fail, here you can create a ticket. Use Virtual Assistant during working hours to ask for phone number & call that too: https://support.hp.com 

Good luck, my PC has been out of order since the 26th of September.
