OMEN by HP 40L Gaming Desktop PC GT21-0000i (392G3AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello everyone!

My Rig (mostly upgraded from stock)

Cpu: 15-12400F (stock all problems occured after i upgraded to i9-12900f

Mobo: stock my model number is gt21-0014 idk what mobo that is but its stock

GPU: Geforce rtx 4080

RAM: kingston fury 16gb, Fury 16gb same namebrand purchased extra sticks worked fine before the cpu upgrade using xmp 1 settings

PSU: evga supernova 850w g5 power supply (upgraded from original)

CPU FAN: nh-u9s

alright guys today after upgrading my cpu finally i noticed that my ram (not the hp stock ones) is only listed as 2400mhz max!

before i upgraded the cpu however the ram ran perfectly fine the same as the HP stock ram at 3200mhz. while looking into the hardware specs it lists the same ram stick at a max mhz @2400hz even though all ram sticks are identical and its the same nambrand! is it a driver issue?

When i manually go into bios to set the xmp profile to 1 i get 5 beeps and no start up and it reverts back to default @ 2400mhz

Has anyone had this issue?

and also on a side note the omen light hub refuses to work the computers internal lights are all off and even using omen gaming hub and setting up my old lights it still doesn't work

i went ahead and checked my ram speeds using windows key + R this is what came up

wmic memorychip get speed
Speed
2400
3200
2400
3200

does this mean only the stock omen ram sticks are running at 3200 while the other are running at 2400mhz?

they are the same exact model however the other two were purchased later when i began to upgrade my computer.

before the cpu upgrade however they all ran at 3200mhz
