Hey @Ummgumm,
Thank you for your response
If your HP All-in-One - 22-df0003w keeps restarting randomly and all diagnostics and virus scans show no issues, here’s some potential fixes:
Check for Overheating
Overheating will force shutdowns/restarts to prevent damage.
Clean out any dust around vents and fans.
Ensure it’s placed on a flat, ventilated surface.
Power Supply Issues
A faulty AC adapter or internal power delivery issue may cause restarts.
Try a different, compatible AC adapter if possible.
Check for any signs of loose power cables or port damage.
Windows Settings (Disable Automatic Restart)
This won’t fix the issue but can reveal a blue screen (BSOD) instead of a restart:
Press Win + R, type sysdm.cpl → Enter.
Go to Advanced tab → Startup and Recovery > Settings.
Uncheck "Automatically restart" under System Failure.
If a BSOD appears next time, note the error code.
Update Drivers and BIOS
Go to HP All-in-One - 22-df0003w Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support and:
Install the latest BIOS, chipset, and graphics drivers for your exact model.
Especially if you haven't updated the BIOS—a known cause of instability.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
