Hi @emilio2357,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you've already taken some troubleshooting steps, but let's go through some additional ones to try and resolve the issue with your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop computer.

Check Monitor and Connections:

  • Ensure that your monitor is properly connected to both the computer and a power source.
  • Check that the monitor is on the correct input source.

Power Cycle:

  • Turn off the computer completely and unplug it from the power source.
  • Hold down the power button for around 15 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  • Plug the computer back in and turn it on.

Reseat RAM and Graphics Card:

  • Turn off the computer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Open the case and carefully reseat the RAM sticks and the graphics card (if applicable).
  • Make sure they are properly inserted into their slots.

Reset BIOS:

  • If you've updated the BIOS, there could have been an issue during the update process. Try resetting the BIOS to its default settings.
    1. Locate the CMOS battery on your motherboard (small silver coin-cell battery).
    2. Remove the battery for about 5-10 minutes and then put it back in.
    3. Power on the computer and see if it boots.

Disconnect External Devices:

  • Disconnect all unnecessary external devices such as USB drives, printers, and extra monitors. Sometimes, a faulty external device can cause boot issues.

Check for Beep Codes:

  • If your motherboard has a speaker or buzzer, listen for any beep codes during startup. These can indicate hardware issues. Check your motherboard's manual for the beep code meanings.

Try a Different Monitor or Cable:

  • If possible, try using a different monitor and/or a different video cable to rule out any issues with the display or connections.

Inspect for Physical Damage:

  • Carefully inspect the motherboard and other components for any signs of physical damage, such as burnt areas or swollen capacitors

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
