HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-xa0011
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my computer had a blue screen and a message to contact HP service.  I sent to a HP service center and they tried to reseat some connections and tested a new hard drive and RAM.  They determined that the failure lies within the motherboard.  Is it worth pursuing or just buy a new computer.  It is out of warranty.

As @Prométhée wrote, it is time to move on.  Checking eBay I see that used screens are selling above $250 so you can recoup some of your investment.  Even damaged motherboards have a market as well as power supplies.

You might also examine the part number on your motherboard.  If it is being offered for sale, guaranteed, and was pulled from WORKING WINDOW 1O system then it's license was registered at Microsoft and can be re-activated.  If it was never activated for windows then you MAY have to contact Microsoft when trying to activate and explain it is a replacement.  It is best to use chat when asking to activate instead of using a phone especially with a language difficulty.  Replacing a motherboard is not trivial but there are videos to help.

Hope This Helps!

Not exactly what I said
More precisely !
This type of computer is very fragile on the one hand..
If the user does not think he is able to repair it himself, he will have to go through a professional!
Hp does not usually offer this type of out-of-warranty repair, but if it does

You have to consider the cost of the complete repair
If the computer, at a certain number of years?
The user, if he tries it himself, he risks having bought a motherboard for nothing, for one reason or another, if it does not go as well as it should.
null repair, loss of money, time spent, etc.
is this model?

since it is not a high performance computer
If it was already just enough, not worth spending the money

it is necessary to make the share of things before you embark on this type of repair @BOBZETA76
