My keyboard stop working yesterday. Device ACPI HPQ8001 4&0 Had a prolem starting
Drivername: keyboard.inf
After updated from HP Support sites

posted laptop to desktop, wow that be a challenge for me.
where did you see PS/2 ever.? but is false lead that.... there is no PS/2 here.
so in control panel + device manager , click keyboard there and update driver fails, and must be internet connected are you.
if not the keyboard may be bad.
my guess is you forced a wrong driver to you PC , not using the HP , box asking for your service tag, invites wrong drivers.
