HP ENVY Desktop - 795-0137cb
Microsoft Windows 11

Envy Desktop 795-01xx running windows 11.  Lost power, on restart got blue screen with message File:\windows\system32\windload\efi.

@Mick_1 -- The error-message could possibly be a result of a "corrupt" file-system on the "C:" drive-letter.

 

Try this:

  1. hold-down the on/off button, until the computer powers-off.
  2. power-on the computer, to see the same message.
  3. repeat #1 and #2.
  4. repeat #1 and #2.
  5. repeat #1 and #2.
  6. repeat #1, and power-on your computer, to see if Windows opens to the "Recovery" window, where you can try various things, that may cause the "repair" of the file-system. If the repair is successful, restart, to see if Windows will start normally.
