Hi @starswallower

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Most, if not all, TG01 PCs ship with the operating system on a factory installed M.2 PCIe SSD.

Did you replace the HP factory M.2 PCIe SSD with a higher capacity M.2 PCIe SSD? Did you clone or copy the operating system from the HP SSD to the new SSD?

You could add a second 2.5 inch SATA SSD but I would not use the SATA SSD as a the system drive; the HP factory M.2 drive is much faster.

A second SATA SSD will not appear in the HP UEFI Start Menu as a boot option if it does not have a bootable operating system.

What is your plan to get the HP operating system on the new SSD?

Again, did you install: a new and larger M.2 PCIe SSD or a second 2.5 inch SATA SSD? Both drives would have unallocated space and need a bootable operating system.

So I am not sure what is happening.

Regards
