As soon as i turn the power on at the power socket, the pc tries to start then shows a cmos error before restarting. Also noticing the clock hasn't updated since the last time it was on. I've tried updating and rolling back the bios, but still the same.

Do not make any bios upgrades or downgrades if there is a problem with the OS or motherboard. it is better to boot with the wrong time than not to boot up at all.
If you set the correct date and time and then pressed F10 to save your changes then the clock should be correct the next time your reboot.
if not then replace the battery on your Dorado motherboard
Unplug from wall and touch the Power-On button 2-3 times to discharge the internal capacitors. Touch the metal case with your finger before touching the motherboard to discharge any static electricity you or the case may have.
