HP 550-153NA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

A couple of days ago my HP desktop stopped booting up, maybe it was after a windows update, i'm not sure

Basically after the HP logo comes up the PC doesnt fully boot up and gets stuck on a blank screen sort of blue on the monitor

Ive tried

unplugging all externals and power cable, hold down power button for 15 secs and then reboot

System quick scan - PASS

Bios update - OK

Nothing has worked

Maybe it needs a system restore point

Thanks

@AndyF5 -- Maybe it needs a system restore point

Note that "System Restore" will time-warp your copy of Windows back to a previous date/time when a "checkpoint" was created and stored on your disk-drive -- namely, when your computer was working OK.

If you cannot start Windows, you cannot launch "System Restore".

If your disk-drive has failed, any start-up of Windows may not be able to load to the "System Repair" screen.

I recommend that you take the computer to a qualified computer technician, for professional trouble-shooting, since I am guessing that you do not currently have the skill to do any "advanced" trouble-shooting, beyond what you have already done.

Is your computer less than one year old, such that the original HP Warranty is still in effect?

If so, contact HP Support, to exercise the warranty.
