So i bought this pc probably a couple years ago and I had a Ryzen 5 5600G. Recently, I bought a new CPU which was the Ryzen 5 5600X. Yes I am aware that its older but gaming wise its alot better and faster than the 5600G.
Anyways after changing to this CPU (Ryzen 5600X), I have been expereincing things that I never experenced before. First of all, the CPU is locked to auto overclock and I can't change it back to default no matter how hard I try. Secondly, Ryzen Master completely stopped working and I don't know how to fix that issues so thats another problem. Thirdly, I'm countering randomly crashed out of no where, like I would be playing some games like Valorant or Minecraft while streaming and all of sudden the pc would just crashed and auto reboot.
Is there a problem with this CPU? or is there a way to fix my Ryzen Master

Greetings @nthlikeyou
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Your PC's MB supports a 105 watt TDP 5600X so that's not the issue.
Did you upgrade the CPU cooler? That could be an issue. HP would match the 5600G with a 65 watt TDP CPU cooler at the factory.
Have you checked CPU thermals? HWiNFO portable can do this.
How do you know the CPU is overclocked if Ryzen Master is out of commission. I don't think your PC's BIOS supports overclocking. Use HWiNFO to check CPU performance characteristics.
Did you reset CMOS before installing the 5600X?
Reset CMOS by removing the CR2032 MB battery. Let the PC sit for five minutes or more. I would do a new MB battery, it's cheap to do.
Have you tried uninstalling Ryzen Master? You can reinstall after doing the above stuff.

Well, no im still using the 65 watts CPU cooler that came with the Ryzen 5600g because the new pc cooler doesn’t fit the MB since the screw post is more spread.
Also i knew it was locked in auto overclock because it said so in AMD Adrenaline software and yes i have uninstalled and reinstalled the AMD chipset, Ryzen Master program and the BIOS multiple time but nothing seems to fix the problem.
……I think i might need a new CPU cooler now 😕

Greetings @nthlikeyou
Reset CMOS.
You need to do the Intel CPU cooler mounting system on your HP AMD MB.
Watch this Video.
The author did a Noctua CPU cooler upgrade in a 25L PC. Your PC is similar.
