Product: HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-1177c
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
For several weeks, I get two bong beeping sounds during BIOS boot-up. System comes up okay with no problems.
I ran the HP Support Assistant and the BIOS Diagnostics UEFI fast-tests, both with no problems indicated.
1) What are the two beeps telling me? What should I do? Replace the two old 16G Micron memory boards???
2) UEFI diagnostics indicates "not up to date" with Version 9.1.0.0. But when I go to HP's PCDiags center, the current version is... Version 7.6.2.0 Rev. A dated Jun 12, 2020. Should I update the UEFI code to something that is a lower version number and three years old?
