Hi @AADITHYA2,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP All-In-One PC is unable to boot, there could be several potential reasons for this issue. Here's a step-by-step troubleshooting guide to help you identify and potentially resolve the problem:
Check Power Supply:
- Make sure the power cable is securely plugged into both the wall outlet and the PC.
- Check if the power indicator LED on the PC is lighting up.
Hardware Disconnect:
- Ensure that all external devices like printers, USB drives, etc., are disconnected from the PC.
- If you have any additional monitors, disconnect them as well.
Test Different Power Outlet:
- Try plugging your PC into a different power outlet to rule out issues with the outlet itself.
Power Cycle:
- Power off the PC completely.
- Unplug the power cable.
- Press and hold the power button for about 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Plug the power cable back in and turn on the PC.
Check Display:
- If the PC seems to be running but there's no display, ensure that the monitor is turned on and correctly selected to the appropriate input source.
Check for Error Messages:
- Listen for any error beeps or look for error messages on the screen during startup. These could provide clues about the issue.
Hardware Issues:
- If none of the above steps work, there could be a hardware problem. It might be worth opening up the PC if you're comfortable doing so, and checking for loose connections, especially with components like RAM and storage drives.
RAM Issues:
- Faulty RAM can prevent a PC from booting. Try reseating or swapping the RAM sticks (if you have more than one) to see if that helps.
Hard Drive/SSD Issues:
- A failed hard drive or SSD can also lead to booting problems. Listen for any unusual clicking or grinding noises coming from the PC. You might need to replace the storage drive.
BIOS/UEFI Settings:
- Entering the BIOS/UEFI settings might help identify any issues with hardware recognition or configuration. Ensure that the boot order is correct.
Software/OS Issues:
- If your PC gets stuck during the boot process or shows error messages related to the operating system, you might need to repair or reinstall the operating system.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
