I’m following the advice of one of your videos and going through the System Fast Test 2nd Pass, but basically the on-screen prompts haven’t been working, I don’t seem to have a recovery point on the PC and therefore would like to fix it through the black screen, which I can get to, any ideas? Thanks

@dailingual -- I’m unable to reload it
On another computer, see: Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
Since Windows 10 was already "activated" on your computer, the Windows Installer will "call home" to retrieve your Windows product-key, and then complete the installation. Or, the Installer might find the product-key embedded in your computer's motherboard.

@dailingual -- there are some "Experts" on this discussion forum who are NOT employed by HP.
If "pass number 1" of the hardware diagnostics has not found any issues, then I doubt the "pass number 2" will find any hardware issues. So, press "ESC" to stop the test, or hold-down the ON/OFF button until the computer completely powers-off -- 10 to 20 seconds.
Do you have the original Windows 10 Installation Media? If so, boot from that media.
At one point, you will see two options, namely "repair" or "install".
Choose "repair", and see if it will actually repair your copy of Windows.
Tell us how it goes, and then more advice can be offered.

Hi, many thanks for the reply.
I take your point, I shouldn’t have worded that in a way that was disrespectful the community and its experts.
I believe I downloaded Windows from the internet, so as far as I know I’m unable to reload it, but thank you for your advice and your time, I appreciate it.
