HP ProDesk 400 G4 DM
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just purchased this new computer and right from the very start been getting constant 100% disk usage. Have updated all updates but still getting it.

Hi,

Check Task Manager to find the offending process.

Could be Indexing.

Not that unfortunately. Nothing to note in Task Manager as the culprit. It just constantly sits at 100% usage.

Hi,

There really should be one or more processes which are consuming CPU cycles.

Contact HP Support or return the system to the seller.

Something is not right with this PC.

I am sure the PC runs like molasses if the CPU is pinned at 100% all of the time.

Regards
