Hp compaq dc5800
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Recently I wanna upgrade the processor of my hp compaq dc5800 which was coming with 2ghz processor it was very slow and now I'm installing E8400 processor in it so pc become fast but I found 1801 microcode update error and fan also running so fast during boot and one more is 163 date and time not set I have already change the battery, can you please help how to solve it

I would not be able to help you with the other problem.

 

If you have replaced the battery, then the real time clock has probably failed, and the motherboard would need to be replaced.

 

Maybe by some miracle the Microcode update will fix that too.

Friends finally I solved this issues by updating bios, and now PC accept the processor without any troubleshoot,we need to just updating bios 7F2_0160.bin
