Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Community!

I bought an AiO Desktop PC cheaply online (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06267620). Note: Although it was stated in this description as "FreeDOS", the dealer sold it with Win10 and HP also offers all drivers for it.

Overall, it's a good device to work with. However, I find the memory of 4GB too small and wanted to increase it. I used SIW to find out the exact details. According to them, however, the maximum size is only 4GB, so I can't buy 8GB and plug it in.

The device is probably from 2019/2020 as the HDD identifies itself with "2019" as the date of manufacture and a total operating time of 287 hours. The installed BIOS (model type 8381) with version F.67 is dated 08/04/2021, which implies that it is still being 'maintained'.

Question: Is it possible to have the BIOS upgraded by HP so that it can handle 8GB? I remember that newer hard disks could once be made executable by a BIOS update. Now I have the silent hope that this is also possible with the RAM.

If so, which address (e-mail) at HP should I contact to make this request?

If not, what kind of nonsense is it to assemble a device like this in high-end times? I mean, it comes with a cool Radeon R3 (1920x1080, 512MB), with 1TB HDD, 2.3 GHz, but only 4GB maximum RAM?! Sorry, but that's like a high-end Ferrari can only hold a gallon and no other tank is possible.

Greetings.

Hi:

The product specs/motherboard specs indicate that the PC can support 1 x 8 GB of memory.
