Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi community

Trying to help a friend.

They have a all in one HP  22-b028nd

seems a bit slow. She is a teacher and needs to use Ms Teams site via Chrome and Teams App (program)

and Office 365

To get to the point I checked via Task Manager and see her Memory utilization hit 80% at times

then checked Performance tab to find out details on Memory and it seems this PC only has 1 sim of 8GB and there are no other slots!  Could that be true???

even crazier seems to be this page upgarde info on Memory

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05166087

Memory upgrade information

  • Single channel memory architecture
  • One DDR3L SODIMM (204-pin) socket
  • Supports up to PC3L-12800 (DDR3L-1600)
  • Supports 2 GB, 4 GB, and 8 GB SODIMMs
  • Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
    NOTE:
32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.
  • Supports up to 8 GB on 64-bit systems
    NOTE:
Maximum memory shown reflects the capability of the hardware and can be limited further in the operating system.

if I read this eight there is NO upgade possibility !

Please help me understand

Thanks

As you can see from its specs:  it has

  • One slot of RAM
  • which supports 8GB max

and your machine already has 8GB therefore you can't add anything more.

Regards.
