HP ENVY All-in-One - 27-p075na (Touch)

My ENVY all-in-one 27-p075na has 128GB SSD which is now full. I have cleared and moved as much as I can to the much larger D drive, but I still have no room.

I would like to upgrade the SSD rather than buy a new computer but don't know where to start!

All advice appreciated thanks.

@Domski,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Please verify that your primary (boot) drive is an M.2 NVMe SSD. According to: HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, (Bulldozer-4GL) | HP® Customer Support, your motherboard has one M.2 NVMe SSD slot.

I assume the 128GB SSD you mentioned is an M.2 NVMe SSD, such as the Samsung MZHPV128HDGM. I would replace the 128GB M.2 NVMe SSD to a larger size M.2 drive, such as this very affordable ($46) 1TB purchase option: Amazon.com: Crucial P3 1TB PCIe Gen3 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD, up to 3500MB/s - CT1000P3SSD8 : Electroni....

First, download the freeware cloning software named Macrium Reflect 8 Free from here: https://www.macrium.com/reflectfree, go to: "Reflect 8 Free 30-Day Trial" and click on: "Download Free Trial".

 The download steps and the cloning process are explained well in these YouTube instructional videos.  These vids mostly mirror each other, but they also complement each other: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LoRg0AFBKI, and: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RgI2kGCvjM.

I would recommend using a basic M.2 to USB adapter such as this purchase example: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Converter-Portable-Support-Windows/dp/B07VVNGYFV/ref=sr_1_11?crid=1LJ....

Once you completed your cloning, simply swap your old M.2 drive with the new M.2 drive.

In case you need it, here is an instructional YouTube video how to open your AIO to access your M.2 NVMe SSD drive: Removing & Replacing Parts | HP ENVY 27-inch All-in-One Desktop | HP Computer Service | @HPSupport -... -see timestamp 01:53.

Hope this was helpful.
