HP Slimline Desktop - 270
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking to upgrade the GPU of my HP Slimline Desktop - 270. The objective, to get a minimum of 2GB GPU similar or better than a NVIDIA GTX 770 | AMD Radeon RX 570  to the range of similar to better than   NVIDIA GTX 970 | AMD Radeon RX 590 - 4GB or more). This may require to change the power supply. Question.

- GPU that will fit the case, allowing the the use (not interfering with the SSD M.2)

- Would a change a power supply would be required, if so, what would be some options (examples)

Thanks

yes, I understand better
on the one hand it would be a minimal configuration, which would be best for you, because the pc is not very scalable, only, you will not have a good gaming experience
For the average system requirements which is more:
Intel Core i5-8400, 16 GB of RAM, an AMD Radeon RX 590 or NVIDIA GTX 970 graphics card
And even worse, for an optimal configuration 'depending on the sources)
AMD Ryzen Pro 2700X or Intel Core i7-9800X processor
AMD Radeon VII or Nvidia RTX 2080 graphics card
32GB RAM
in both cases, you will not be able to have what you need, to play in good conditions you will have to settle for the minimum and more ..
Personally, I don't know what other people might advise you, I would tell you to either pass this idea on, and find a better computer, which can last with a good starting configuration!
Either go to a professional, so that he tests some graphics cards, this will prevent you from buying a card that does not work!

@Polarin , welcome back to the forum.

What is the product number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. Here is a guide to help you find it:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph07555

@Polarin,

Can I ask a question?  Why do you insist on calling your computer an HP Slimline Desktop PC 270-p0xx,

leaving out the 24 numbers?

Hello
It would be good if the model is indicated correctly ..a fault in hp assistant sometimes found in the system information

you have this computer:

HP Slimline 270-p024 Desktop PC Product Specifications

Now I don't understand what exactly you want as a graphics card, you are citing several models
But I can tell you, that it is not won, the original power supply is 180w only, probably difficult to replace!
The slim case certainly has very little space.
At worst it may be possible to install what is in other models.

 ex: 270-p071hk PC Product Specifications

But a powerful model in this case, if it is possible will certainly lead to too much overheating !!
If you want a gamer pc, take a gamer pc, not a desktop computer

Thanks. Basically I am looking for options. Main objective, be able to play,  Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. When I bought this PC, I was not thinking about it... MS FS2020 was not on my radar. The GPU info basically I copied and pasted form the minimum requirements of FS2020. By reading some of the post and answer I think there might be some alternative solutions.
