Product: Z6 G4
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We recently bought a Z6 G4 workstation with a Xeon 6130 processor.   One of the things that attracted us to this workstation was the potential to add a second CPU as the computations I am doing scale in speed with the number of processor cores.   Does anyone know how to get a quotation from HP for the second CPU riser alone - its easy to include it in an original workstation order, but I can't find how to get it as a later upgrade.

contact hp support using the included support numbers included in your documentation, and have the unit serial number handy along with purchase date and register the system if you have not allready done so

 

support will then be able to give you the HP part number for the  HP sec cpu upgrade kit and the number to call to order said part
