wont spin on fan and keep overheating

Use an air duster to clean out any dust bunnies.

Try moving the fan blades with your finger.  If they are stuck the fan needs to be replaced. 

 

Usually the fan has a part number and it is likely to be on the back side.   Removed the  shroud. Graphics cards vary and you might have to remove the heat sink to get access to the fan.

 

The fan may have a part number. For example (just guessing)

 

 Fan model: PLA09215B12H

 

Use google to look it up. Since most of these are made in Asia use the AliExpress search engine

I do not trust that image as they did not list the spacing between the mounting holes.  Be sure to measure spacing in mm and verify the vendors size.  Email the vendor is in doubt. . Also the fan my be 5v or 12v so that needs to be checked. . Always verify the fan picture matches your fan and the number of pins match

 

If shipment is across the ocean it is likely to cost too much to return the wrong fan.
