Product: HP 3500 Pro
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a problem, which is that when I turn on the HP Pro 3500 Series desktop computer, the processor fan does not complete three cycles and remains stopped and appears on the computer screen as 511 - CPU fan not detected. When I press F1, the computer runs normally with the fan constantly stopping, and this happens whenever I turn on the computer again, please, what is the problem?
in the HP setup utility
I can see the System Fan speed ~1200 rpm but CPU Fan speed = N/A
Bios is AMI 8.17 10/25/13
i don’t see anything under Advanced about the fan.
