Hello! I'm facing an unpleasant problem: the CPU fan has gone crazy. It's an HP Z420 WorkStation with an LGA-2011 motherboard. The system stopped booting, but I could access the BIOS. I tried resetting to default settings, but it didn't change anything. I attempted to lower the fan speed in the settings, but it doesn't respond... the fan spins so fast that it seems like it's trying to leave the planet. I removed the battery and cleared the CMOS, but it didn't help... I took out the graphics card - no effect. When I put it back in, the monitor lost its display, and the fan continued to spin wildly... I tried unplugging its connector, but the system won't start. A red LED blinks, accompanied by an audio signal. Initially, it blinks 8 times, then pauses, and then it beeps 16 times. Then there's another pause, and the fan attempts to take off again..
Now the system doesn't boot at all. Just a black screen, beeping, a red LED, and the fan spinning at high speed. Thank you for your assistance!
