Pavilion 590-p0xxx

I would like to add a graphics card to my Pavilion 590-p0xxx. I’m considering the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, which requires a minimum 650W PSU. Specs for my computer show the PSU is only 150W, and it doesn’t have the cable for a graphics card. Is there a 650W PSU that’s compatible with the Pavilion 590-p0xxx? I can only find HP branded PSUs up to 500W for this computer. I’ve looked at other brands, but they don’t seem to be the right shape/size to fit correctly.

@Savontb82,

If your "Pavilion 590-p0xxx" happens to be fitted with a Lincs motherboard (SSID: 843B), your proprietary HP power supply upgrade options indeed come to a screeching halt at 500-watt with p/n: L05757-800.

But look, given the high quality of the L05757-800, some RTX 4070 graphics cards -powered by a single 8-pin PCIe cable such as the Asus Dual RTX 4070 12GB would probably work just fine with this 500-watt PSU in my opinion.
