HP Recommended
Product: 8000 Elite CMT
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My 8000 CMT desktop now has BIOS version 1.02 and ME version 5.2.1001 with CPU Intell Core2 Duo E8400.  I will  be installing Windows 10, 64 bit.  Should I upgrade either version firmware, and if so to what?

go to the hp site for your model, and click on the left side of the Bios section to expand, now select the description of the bios and read, then decide if the cjanges made in each revision affect you

 

example a change to the bios for "AMT which is used in work domain enviroments will not affect you and so that can be skipped, a bios change that fixes the spectre security bug does affect you and as such should be applied
