I've updated the BIOS and everything else but still having problems with this HP bad omen desktop pc, I've reset it twice to factory settings in the last 8 months and I haven't had it for a year,  but now I'm getting a sort of notification bell sound whilst I'm watching YouTube videos.  Also once again I get messages from websites saying they don't recognise my computer! This will be the last HP I buy!

To stop YouTube notifications in Windows 11, you can either manage them within your YouTube settings (for browser-based alerts) or through your Windows 11 Settings (for system-level pop-ups), typically by disabling them for your browser or turning off specific app notifications in Windows Settings > System > Notifications, and then finding your browser in the list.

Can you give an example of the message?  I you are trying to join a game server, you may get messages such as secure boot or TPM not enabled (anti cheat messages) or you may not have registered correctly with the server and cannot join.

This  might be useful.

let me know what you find out.

This is an email I received today:

We noticed that your MyHeritage account was accessed just now from a new device or location:
Opera on Windows | United Kingdom (18.133.247.104)

If it was you and you recently logged in from a new device or a new location, all is well and you can ignore this notification.

Note that this notification may have been sent to you due to changes in your internet connection (e.g. a new IP address was assigned to you by your provider, or a recent use of a VPN service).

Secondly I've turned off all the notifications on the settings on Win 11 as well as YouTube but still the noise come through even when I'm listening to an audio book that isn't on YT!

I had the same problem when I configured outlook on my win11 pc AND SAME FOR MY IPHONE!!!.  Every email caused a beep and a popup in the bottom right corner of the display.   it is not just win11 it is the app also causing the problem.

To stop email pop-up notifications in Windows 11, go to Settings > System > Notifications, then either toggle off notifications entirely or find your mail app (like Mail, Opera or Outlook) in the list below and turn off its specific notifications, or enable "Do Not Disturb" to silence them during certain times. For the mail app itself, check its internal settings for "Notification Style" and set it to "None" for banner pop-ups
