Product: Omen GT130XX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have a new Custom mande Omen GT130-XX machine. It is an I7-11700K @ 360GHz machine with 64GB RAM, a NVIDIA 3080 video card, liquid cooling, and an M2 2TB drive.   The machine is blazing fast and nice. But when looking at the Event Viewer, I noticed that I have been receiving 350 or so Warning WHEA Logger event 17 error with a troubling message:

A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Component: PCI Express Endpoint
Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)

 

HP Assistant and available hardware test tools show NO problems at all.

 

Is this something to be concerned about? Thanks,

Hi,

 

Nice rig! A 3080 is very expensive at retail.

 

No worries if your new PC is running good.

 

Scammers use Event Viewer to convince folks a problem needs fixing.

 

Check Control Panel, Security and Maintenance to see if anything needs your attention. Also check Control Panel, Device Manager for any errors. You might have to complete a driver installation.

Hi Grzwacz,  The rig is very nice! I've been saving for it for 2 years (yes, it was expensive).  I have looked for conflicts (none) and the drivers are (according to HP, NVIDIA and Microsoft) up to date. The error messages are troubling though.
