Product: HP Pavilion 6000
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have Foxconn 2a92 motherboard and AMD Phenom II X4 830 Processor. 

I need AVX extension for a program update in order to run.  Do any compatible Phenom II cpu's have aVX extension capability that would work?

FX series were the Bulldozer code name and listed under Bulldozer not FX. As for the CPUs supported on that motherboard, only the Phenom II and the Athlon II were supported as shown on this page.

I believe the first CPUs from AMD that supported AVx were the FX series. More information is on this page.

I don't see FX series listed in that Wikipedia page.  Another question:  Will the Foxconn   board be compatiible with any other processors, or only the Phenom II?
