Hi:

 

If your PC has a motherboard SSID 835B, it you can install an AMD Ryzen 7 processor, such as the Ryzen 7 1800X.

 

Here is a benchmarking website where folks have recorded their PC configurations.

 

UserBenchmark: HP EliteDesk 705 G3 SFF Compatible Components

 

An easy way to check what motherboard your PC has is to click on the Windows search icon on your PC's taskbar and type System Information.

 

The program should appear in the search panel. 

 

Left-click on the System Information program and look what it indicates to the right of "BaseBoard Product".

 

If your PC has a motherboard SSID 8265, you can only install one of the processors listed in the specifications link below.
