HP Pavilion 595-p0000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I attempted to install a Seagate Ironwolf 6TB NAS Drive in this unit but there did not appear to be additional connectors for the mother board. Also, I couldn't seem to install / mount it as the hard ware screws didn't appear to line up.

Is it possible to add a drive to it? I have over a TB of media on an external drive but really want it all in one unit (with backups of course!)

@Rich-54,

You need to specify the exact model number.

The 595 series all use a lincs motherboard ie 595-p0033nb,p0039c,p0074,p0084.  Those only has an m.2 socket 3 SSD lost, and 3 (white, light blue, and blue) SATA data headers. Hard drives mounted from the bottom screw holes, not the side holes. See here. page 13  that said, the p0084 has the m,2, DVD, and 1TB drive installed, still leaving 1 SATA data header.

Thanks WB. It’s a p0084. I think what you’ve provided will help me. It’s not a huge priority right now but I will check it out soon.

Again, thanks!

Rich
