Add a 2nd nvme drive

I want to add more storage than the existing nvme on this laptop. Can I add a 2nd nvme? Can I add another sata drive.

Your notebook only has support for one M.2 SSD.

The notebook does have support for a 2.5" drive according to chapter 1 of the service manual, but most likely, none of the parts to install one will be there if your notebook only came with a M.2 SSD.

If the parts to add a 2.5" drive are not there, you would have to locate and buy the parts to add a 2.5" drive that are listed in chapter 3, page 21 of the service manual and you will probably find that difficult and expensive.

HP does not sell the parts you need.

I recommend that you replace the 512 GB NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.
