Product: HP Compaq 8200 Elite Base Model Small Form Factor PC

My 8200 has one RAM module of 8GB installed in XMM1 socket.

I want add mre RAM. Can I add two 4 GB  Samsung 1Rx8 PC3-12800U in XMM2 and XMM4?

Hi, Ramon:

 

Yes, that is how you would install the memory.

 

In slots 1 and 3 you install the same amount of memory and in slots 2 and 4, you install the same amount of memory.

 

So...8 GB + 4 GB + 0 GB + 4 GB = 16 GB running in dual channel mode.
