@adam2012s,

Outstanding!

Your HP All-in-One 27 Desktop PC 27-cb0000a (6P7J7PA) can be fitted with up to 2x16GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, Non-ECC, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks.

How to confirm for sure:

Run a Command Prompt Check.

Open Command Prompt (search "cmd") and run as Administrator.

The copy/paste/Enter: wmic memphysical get MaxCapacity

Divide the result (in KB) by 1024 (to get MB) and then by 1024 (to get GB) will show your system's RAM hardware limit.

Kind Regards,

Ok so I just want one more 8 GB because I have already got one 8. and also, when I play high requirement games it is glitching pretty bad so if I add more will it make my experience better?

@adam2012s,

Good question -yes, adding an additional 8GB RAM stick should make a difference.

For gaming, you need a minimum of 2x8GB RAM.  For best RAM performance, choosing an identical RAM stick would be preferable, but at least choose an 8GB RAM stick with the same speed and timings and such.  If you are not sure, give me the part number of your current 8GB RAM stick, and I can give you a couple of best possible RAM options.

ok I don't really want to open up my computer just yet until the RAM comes because I don't want to open it twice as the click degrade if you open it too many times, so is there a way I can identify my RAM without opening it?

HP Recommended

@adam2012s,

Yes, you can: to identify the information about the RAM installed on your device, please follow the steps below.

Open the command prompt (cmd) and run it as Administrator.

Copy/paste/Enter: wmic memorychip list full

Look to the right of: "PartNumber=" and provide that information.

Kind Regards,
