Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

How can I upgrade RAM from the 6 GB it came with to a higher amount on my HP 23-d044 All-in-one touchscreen (processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3220 CPU? Specifics on products and installation guidance is appreciated.  Thanks, Mark

Hi:

This discussion shows potential issues with upgrading the memory:

HP Touchsmart Envy 23 RAM Upgrade - HP Support Community - 8361593

Why the PC did not work with 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory, that I do not know.

In order for the memory to meet the DDR3 standard DDR3L (1.35V) memory must also be able to run at 1.5V.

Best to find a used but tested and working DDR3 4 GB memory chip on eBay that has the HP part numbers listed in your PC's parts list.

Thank you for responding.  I might have the same issue.  Buying a "used but tested" similar or identical model seems like a challenge, but maybe there is no other feasible approach.

Thank you for responding.  This may be helpful if I learn that RAM upgrades on my model would work.
