I'd like to add a CD player to my all in one desktop. I have data on CDs that I would like to access on my new all in one. Some are software, some are photos, and some are audio.

@jimsatdiver , welcome to the Community.

 

If you have an open USB port on your AIO I suggest using an external CD/DVD player.  They are small and don't use space in the case that will allow for better air flow.  I have used one for years with great success.  You can see the example in my link.
