Greetings everyone,
I would like to know if it is possible to use the WLAN module slot to install a Mini PCI-e FireWire Card? I own a great FireWire Audio Interface and was wondering if I could use that slot for that purpose?
The reason Why I am asking for it is because, that's the normal way I would do install such cards on older mini PCs or Extra Mini PCIe cards on Laptops.
If its not the case, would that slot can be used to house a third M.2 SSD Hard Drive?
I run Linux Mint and Windows 10 (dual boot and two different hard drives )
Thank you much

@AlexMagno , welcome to the forum.
Here is the Hardware Reference Guide for your computer. It appears that there is a M.2 socket on your motherboard. On Pages 19 thru 22 it explains how to replace or add a M.2 PCIe SSD. It is beneath the hard drive from what I can determine.
I don't believe that you can use the WLAN slot for a Firewire card.

Normally PCIe slot for wifi card is very slow and you need faster port for Firewire 400/800. But from following specs

You can use spare PCIe slot for Firewire. Please try
