I have a 2 TB SATA HDD. Can I add a 256 or 512 SSD or do I need to replace HDD with an adequate size SSD? If I can, assume it has to be an SATA SSD like the Samsung 860 EVO? Thanks.

@josietails , welcome to the forum.
Here are the SSD's that are recommended by Crucial Memory. I believe that the Samsung EVO 860 should work, also. You will need an adapter to install the 2.5" SSD into a 3.5" drive bay. There is no M.2 socket on the motherboard.
