Product: HP Z240 Small Form Factor Workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased a Z240 SFF PC which I absolutely love.

 

My MB has an open PCIe v3 x1 slot and I would like to add a 1TB or 2TB SSD as additional Storage (not as boot drive).

There is a nifty adapter StarTech PEX4M2E1  that I'd like use with a Samsung 970 EVO 1TB   or a Samsung 970 EVO 2TB .

 

Before I puchase these items, I'd like to get some feedback about whether this should work for me.

 

I guess that's all at this time.
